2001-2003 Toyota RAV4 Remanufactured ECU ECM 89661-42651

This is a refurbished 2001 - 2003 Toyota RAV4 car computer (ecm, ecu or engine control module) for front wheel drive (4x2) vehicles (not 4x4). A one year warranty is included with this ECU.

This Toyota RAV4 ECM was repaired and put back to new condition. No programming will be needed, just install and will be ready to use.

Already known problems with transmission, caused by these units, were corrected (repaired) on this one and preventive measures were taken to avoid this from happening again. Measures to avoid other common problems were taken also. That makes this unit better than a new one, not to mention the better price.

How do I know if this ECM fits my RAV4?

If (1) your RAV4 is a 2001, 2002 or 2003 model.
If (2) it has an automatic transmission.
If (3) it is 4x2 traction (FWD or front wheel drive, not 4x4).
If (4) it does not use immobilizer (this can be customized).

My original ECM has a higher number (Ex: 89661-42880), can this one be used?

Yes, this one will replace that number. Remember, the rule is; must be automatic and must be 4x2. Immobilizer can be adjusted to customer needs.
