NOTE: This ecu is for RAV4 models equipped with immobilizer security
system. If your vehicles has no immobilizer, you may tell us, so we can
reprogram it for non-immobilizer applications before shipping it to
you.
How do I know if my RAV4 has immobilizer or not?
While it can not be identified from the VIN number, nor by the ECM part number and there are ECMs having the same part number, either with and without immobilizer, you can easily know by doing a simple check for the presence or absence of a fuse. For the information, you may check the article below. It will only take a minute and you will be 100% sure if your RAV4 is immobilizer enabled or not.

The immobilizer was reset, to be

your vehicle with this unit. Just plug it in and ready to drive.
(Tested on actual vehicle and checked all functions, then the
immobilizer was reset again to virginize it)
