This is a BRAND NEW 2001 - 2003 Toyota RAV4 car computer (ecu, ecm or engine control module).

This Toyota RAV4 car computer is NOT refurbished, it is BRAND NEW and has NEVER been used. Usual problems with transmission caused by earlier units are NOT present on this computer. Toyota OEM part number for this, is 89661-42812 and it will fit and directly replace all 2001-2003 immobilizer equipped 4x2 (2 Wheel Drive) RAV4 models.

How do I know if my RAV4 has immobilizer or not?

While it can not be identified from the VIN number, nor by the ECM part number and there are ECMs having the same part number, either with and without immobilizer, you can easily know by doing a simple check for the presence or absence of a fuse.
